The decision to sell your home is very important but even more important is what agent and agentcy to select to assist with the sale. Selecting the wrong agent could potentially cost you thousands of dollars. All agents are not the same nor do they have the same qualifications. I always reccomend that you should interview at least 3 agents and always make sure that I am the last agent to interview for the position. Do not sign anything with anyone until all have been interviewed. It costs nothing to interview several agents and youll be more informed as to who has the best marketing plan and can reccomend the correct listing price to get your home sold in the shortest amount of time for the best price. Beware of the agent who recommends a listing price that is out of reach just to get you to sign a listing agreement. A week later when your home has had NO showings, they will then ask you to lower the price and continue to do so every couple weeks until they get the price low enough to attract some attention. This tactic will cost you valuable time and chances are very good that your home will sell for less than true market value. I could write pages and pages here but I'd rather save it until we get together for an interview and at that time I'll explain how I am able to sell houses faster and for more money than most.
